FAQs

1. Are any nature-mimicking chemicals used in the products?

I do not use any synthetic chemicals. I use natural, mainly organic products.

2. Are the products or any of the ingredients tested on animals?

All ingredients and products are not tested on animals. All products are one hundred per cent plant-based and cruelty-free.

3. Which products could I use to avoid an adverse reaction if I have a nut allergy?

I recommend using Hemp, or Olive oil, as a base ingredient when purchasing a Face Serum, Body Moisture Oil or Coffee Body Scrub.

Macadamia and Sweet Almond's base oils are made from tree nuts.

4. Is the Body Oil and Face Serum safe to use with skin conditions such as; acne, dermatitis, eczema or psoriasis?

All Oils on offer are great at nourishing the skin and have healing and anti-inflammatory properties. Olive oil is great for a more mature skin, however, it should be avoided if you have oily or prone to breakouts skin. Do not use sweet almond or macadamia if you have a nut allergy. Discontinue using any product immediately, and consult with your doctor if you have any adverse reactions.

5. Which oil is best for my skin type?

Take a closer look at the ingredients information page, to see what aligns best with your skin needs. All oils on offer are compatible with most skin types and are carefully chosen with that in mind.

6. Should I use the serum in the morning, evening, or both?

Most people prefer to use the serum both morning and night and see the best benefits that way, particularly with mature skin. The Face Serum can be used first thing in the morning after a face wash, and before applying makeup. Avoid any olive-based Serum on your face in the morning if you tend to run hot, or live in a humid climate, and use only about an hour before bedtime.

Both Sweet Almond and Macadamia can support UV protection.

7. Why the use of a little bi-carb soda in the Coffee Body Scrubs?

It mixes well with the oil and coffee in the base. It gives extra support to the coffee grinds to remove dead skin cells when scrubbing gently. It helps create a more alkaline base for the skin and helps the base and essential oils be absorbed better.

8. Why use lavender and peppermint essential oils as the main ingredients in the main range of products?

Both oils have anti-fungal, calming, and soothing properties for the skin and have wound-healing properties. Lavender is known to have a calming effect on the nervous system, whilst peppermint is cooling and uplifting. Combined they make for a great mix.
