Ingredients
Olive base oil (Oleo Europeca fruit oil)
A versatile oil, not just great to ingest for is also wonderful to use on the skin. Seals in moisture and helps with keeping in hydration (therefore great for mature skin) Acts as an antioxidant, is high in vitamin E and has anti-inflammation properties. Aids in wound healing, reduction in the appearance of scars, including acne or minor surgery wounds. Assists with the reduction of scar formation. Great for breast health; massaging the whole breast area, including the armpits, helps move the lymphatic system and may help in the prevention or reduction of cysts. Contains squalene which boosts oxidant activity. Can help support the reduction caused by cancerous radiation. With oily skin, or those prone to breakouts, olive can cause sebum plugs, and create blackheads and pimples so monitor closely.
Macadamia base oil (Macadamia Integrifolie seed oil)
A medium-weight oil, great for all skin types and balances oily skin. Soothes sunburn and assists with reducing inflammation. A great moisturiser as it contains fatty acids such as oleic, linoleic and palmitoleic acids which help nourish the skin. Combats dry and flaky skin and locks in moisture. Assists with the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. Helps in support fighting acne and softens rough patches. Helps support the healing of skin conditions such as eczema. Assists with the reduction and fading of minor scars. Contains SPF which helps prevent sunburn and protects from UV rays.
Hemp seed base oil (Cannabis Sativa seed oil)
Hemp seed is a lightweight oil with great benefits for all skin types. Rich in vitamin E, acts as an antioxidant and has anti-inflammatory and emollient properties. Boosts skin health and adds glow. Contains essential fatty acids like Omega-6 and Omega-3. Is anti-aging, and great for both hot and cold weather conditions. Balances the skin and does not clog. assists with smoothing acne, and tightens and tones the skin. Great in assisting with the reduction of stretch marks. May be used on varicose veins. Can be used by those suffering from conditions such as acne, eczema, itchy inflamed or dry skin and psoriasis as it calms down itchy, inflamed or dry skin.
Sweet Almond base oil (Prunus Amygdalus Dukis seed oil)
This is a very lightweight oil, great for those who prefer a lighter moisturised feel on the skin. Remains mostly on the surface of the skin, so any effect takes place there. Both a moisturiser and an emollient, smooths the skin by filling in the gaps. Has antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and anti-carcinogenic properties that may help wounds heal. May assist in the treatment of common skin conditions such as dermatitis and eczema, improving moisture retention. Relieves itchy, cracked, and dry and strengthens the skin barrier. Assists in boosting collagen production. Can support avoiding stretch marks during pregnancy May assist with the appearance of anti-ageing by supporting the barrier function of the skin. May support UV protection and help protect from the effects of ultraviolet radiation. Assists with lightening circles and darkness under the eyes.
Lavender essential oil (Lavandula Angustifolia oil), in both face serum and body oil series
Helps many to relax and get better sleep. Known to manage stress and forms of anxiety. Soothes the skin and helps with the relief of bug bites. Can be used for psoriasis inflammation. Supports in combating fungal infections. Has wound healing properties by supporting the closing up of wounds and preventing infections. Can support reducing headaches. Gives a natural glow to the skin. A great essential oil to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding, as it can be calming and soothing to both mother and baby. It has been known to decrease anxiety during labour.
Germanium essential oil (Pelargonium Gravedens oil)
Contains linalool, geranyl formate, citronellol, and geranoil which are believed to exhibit the following activity; sedative, anti-depressant/ anti-inflammatory/ anti-bacterial/ anti-fungal/ antiseptic properties. Has been in use since the early times of the Egyptians. Promotes clear, smooth, radiant skin. It is known to support by effectively eliminating dead skin cells and promote the regeneration of newer healthier skin, hence benefitting acne-prone skin. Its astringent property is known to help tighten the skin and in turn may diminish the appearance of the symptoms of aging, such as sagging skin and fine lines. Can support the balance of hormones. May alleviate signs of stress, mild anxiety and fatigue. Great insect repellent. A safe oil to use during pregnancy and breastfeeding can be calming and soothing for both mother and baby.
Vetiver essential oil (Vetiveria Ziznoides root oil), limited range only
Belongs to the same family as grasses such as lemongrass, palmarosa and citronella. Very calming and grounding. Has a distinctive, strong earthy, woody scent reminiscent of a forest floor. It is known as the oil of tranquillity, great to use before bedtime as part of the evening routine. In the past, it was mainly utilised in Ayurveda where it was used for both spiritual and remedial purposes. Classed as a more masculine scent. Great for hair health rejuvenation. An effective and intensive moisturising oil that supports the skin in keeping it firm and helps protect it from external environmental factors such as air pollution, and smoke, among others. Insect repellent.
Coffee grinds (Coffea Arabica seed extract), in coffee scrubs only)
Improves blood circulation. May help reduce the appearance of cellulite and give the skin a smoother and even tone. Contains antioxidants and can be absorbed into the skin. Help with the prevention of premature ageing by scuffing dead skin cells. After scrubbing the skin can absorb moisture more effectively. Stimulating blood flow can diminish the look of stretch marks and acne. Helps by sloughing off dead skin cells to help maintain a summer tan. All grinds are dehydrated to reduce mould build-up.
Bi-carb soda (Sodium Bicarbonate), in coffee scrub only)
A salt that dissolves in water and mixes well with an oil base. Soothes and softens skin. Removes dead skin cells. Creates an alkaline balance for the skin. Work well in combination with coffee grinds, hence used in each coffee scrub.
Aloe Vera Gel (Aloe Barbadensis leaf extract), sun care lotion only
A natural remedy for sunburn, rash, infection, redness, and itchiness. It has cooling and anti-inflammatory properties that help soothe irritated skin. Contains vitamins C, and E, beta-carotene, and antioxidants that boost healing, moisturise the skin, and support the prevention of aging. It also contains the enzyme bradykinase, which suppresses signs of inflammation, including redness, swelling, pain, and heat. Aloe vera is a natural source of salicylic acid, which helps with flare-ups of blackheads and whiteheads. A great sun care lotion or worn as a moisture replacement on humid days. adds a glow to the skin.
Triple distilled water, in sun care lotion only
Filtered water that has all impurities removed. Clean water, distilled three times, therefore hospital grade. Used as a diluter and mixer for the aloe vera sun care lotion.
Rose Hip oil (Rosa Rubiginosa seed oil), in face serum only
Loaded with provitamin A and carotenoids including lycopene, powerful antioxidants. Very rich in essential fatty acids which is hydrating, moisturising and revitalising to dry and mature skin. help support with the appearance of premature aging. Perfect for both men's and women’s skin. Great for soothing razor burn. Helps with reducing the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and scarring. Helps heal chapped lips.
Argan seed oil (Argania Spinosa kernel oil), in face serum only)
Has a high content of vitamin E, essential fatty acids and antioxidants. Fabulous for nourishing and revitalising moisture in the skin. Rich in stercois which helps protect the skin and its elasticity, and prevents with the appearance of premature ageing. Good for babies’ cradle cap. Helps strengthen brittle nails and softens cuticles. Helps heal cracked lips and heels. Helps with the rehydration of dry and flaky skin.
Baobab seed oil (Adamsonia Digitate seed oil), in face serum only
Rich in essential fatty acids and provitamin A, vitamins D, E and F making this oil a super moisturiser. Nourishes chapped lips and dry skin. Endowed with sterois, which encourages revival and renewal of skin cells. Effective with supporting scar tissue healing. Helps soothe wind-damaged skin. Helps support the renewal of cell production of dehydrated and premature aged skin. Helps support the reduced appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
Pomegranate oil (Punica Granatum seed oil), in face serum only
Boosts collagen production and exhibits anti-inflammatory qualities. It can support the repair of skin that is damaged, dry or ageing. It helps support the regeneration and repair of skin, and can effectively help reduce and prevent wrinkles in the epidermis. It can help with reducing some skin redness and can support the healing of acne. It has antimicrobial properties. Rich in Punicic acid, a powerhouse of natural plant-based oestrogen and antioxidants. Enhances skin elasticity and is known to support hormonal balance in both men and women, thereby enhancing the skin texture of both sexes. Aside from lending moisturising and firming properties, it nourishes the skin whilst offering soothing and protective properties, especially for skin that is irritated or sunburned.
